Heather Mulligan

Heather Mulligan is an experienced professional in advocacy and strategic initiatives, currently serving as Senior Manager of Advocacy for Atlantic Canada at the Canadian Cancer Society since September 2022. Prior to this role, Heather held various positions in government and non-profit sectors, including Director of Outreach for the Nova Scotia Official Opposition and Executive Assistant to the Minister of Health and Wellness in the Government of Nova Scotia. Additional experience includes senior advisory roles and program management with organizations like the United Way/Centraide Ottawa and Mount Saint Vincent University. Heather's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Western University, focusing on Political Science and Globalization Studies.
