Jennifer Proulx

Director at Canadian College of Health Leaders

Jennifer Proulx is currently the Director of Integrated Care Delivery at CHEO. She is responsible for CHEO school- and community-based programs and she is helping build an integrated child and youth health system that better connects care for kids and families.

Prior to joining CHEO, Jennifer was the Director of Home Care Quality and Contracted Provider Accountability for 6 years with the Champlain Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and former Champlain CCAC.

Jennifer also held a number of positions at The Ottawa Hospital over a 12 year period in the areas of Quality and Safety, Service Excellence, and Mental Health. Jennifer has served as a consultant to the Champlain LHIN and to Newfoundland & Labrador's Central Health Authority on residential drug addiction treatment planning for youth.

In 2009, Jennifer received a Masters of Health Administration from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa and was a recipient of the 2009 Robert Wood Johnson Award. She received a Masters of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University in 2002. Jennifer is the 2019 CCHL Eastern Ontario Chapter Distinguished Service Award recipient, has held numerous Executive positions with the Eastern Ontario Chapter since 2012, including Chapter Chair and has been a CCHL member for 12 years. Jennifer is a Certified Health Executive (CHE) and a Certified Improvement Advisor from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). She is a committed mentor to emerging leaders and loves spending time with her husband, daughter and their 2 dogs.
