Justin Jimmy

VP, Finance & Operations at Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business

Justin is a proud member of Onion Lake Cree Nation, with significant experience across a breadth of areas including entrepreneurship, Indigenous government, municipal government, provincial bodies, public and private entities, not-for-profit, and various governance roles.

Through appointments on various boards and committees such as Métis Settlements Development Corporation and the Strategic Aviation Advisory Committee, Justin is committed to raising discussions around Indigenous economic reconciliation and inclusivity in the commerce space.

Justin has a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge and has completed the CPA Professional Education program and the Directors Education Program (ICD.D) with the Institute of Corporate Directors. Prior to entering a career in management, Justin completed commercial flight training with First Nations Technical Institute in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, and is a licensed pilot.

Justin is focused on building sustainable financial systems and team capacity, growing economic development, inclusive and transparent entities, and assisting organizations towards their overarching goals and vision.

Justin currently resides in Calgary, Alberta.
