Michael O'Neil

Michael O'Neil has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michael started their career at Enterprise Holdings as a Management Trainee, where they handled rental contracts, customer service, and financial transactions. Michael then worked as a Staff Accountant, responsible for accounting support and financial analysis. Michael eventually became an Accounting Supervisor, managing a team and ensuring accurate financial statements.

After that, O'Neil joined Rogers Communications as a Solution Sales Representative, where they focused on sales. Michael then worked at Randstad Canada as a Human Capital Partner, specializing in recruitment for finance and accounting positions.

O'Neil also held a role at Coppa's Fresh Market as a Senior AP/AR Manager, managing accounts and payments. Currently, they are at Canadian Fitness Professionals Inc., where they started as a Finance and Accounting Manager and was promoted to Director of Operations. In this role, they oversee finance, marketing, IT, privacy policies, and data breach planning.

Overall, O'Neil has gained experience in finance, accounting, operations, sales, and recruitment throughout their career.

Michael O'Neil completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) (Honours) degree in Finance from Ontario Tech University, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Marketing Certificate from the University of Toronto, attending from 2006 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Michael has also earned several certifications from LinkedIn, including courses on leadership, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism. One of their earlier certifications was "Learning Microsoft Dynamics 365: The Basics" obtained in February 2020.
