Kate Gibson

Kate Gibson is an experienced analyst specializing in information quality at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) since March 2016. In this role, Kate coordinated the Stewardship Council committee to enhance governance mechanisms and served as the subject matter expert for SharePoint development, successfully leading the creation of a new departmental SharePoint site. Previously, as a Quality Assurance Assistant, Kate monitored Shared Health Priority deliverables and contributed to provincial-territorial data quality reports. Earlier experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant in Data Quality and as a Junior Privacy Analyst at The Ottawa Hospital, where Kate conducted privacy breach investigations and performed audits. Kate holds an Honours Bachelor with Specialization in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Liberal Arts from John Abbott College.
