Matthew Godycki

Director, Strategy, Architecture & Standards at Canadian Institute For Health Information

Matthew Godycki serves as the Director of Strategy, Architecture and Standards at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), a role held since August 2005, where responsibilities include overseeing Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and Quality Assurance programs. Prior positions at CIHI include Enterprise Architect and Application Architect, with a focus on strategic architectural direction and the development of the CIHI Blueprint. Godycki also has experience as Technical Lead for health data acquisition systems. In addition to CIHI, Godycki taught motorcycle safety at Centennial College as a CSC Certified Motorcycle Instructor from April 2013 to May 2021 and worked as a Senior Consultant at BearingPoint on various integration projects. Earlier in their career, Godycki was a Java developer at Castek Software Inc. Godycki holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Software Engineering Specialist designation from the University of Toronto, obtained in 2000.
