Beth C.

Beth C. is an experienced healthcare leader currently serving as the Executive Director at Parkdale Food Centre, focusing on community food and programming initiatives since January 2024. Additionally, Beth holds the position of Patient Engagement in Research Ambassador for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, advocating for patient voices in research since November 2022. As the inaugural Chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, Beth has played a key role in strategic planning and research review from February 2021 to May 2024. Previously, Beth was the Manager of Quality and Risk Management at St. Patrick's Home of Ottawa Foundation, where involvement in senior leadership and quality improvement initiatives took place from September 2021 to December 2023. Beth's extensive background includes over 18 years at Queensway Carleton Hospital, where management of inpatient rehabilitation and treatment as a Physiotherapist occurred. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Health Administration from the University of Regina (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa (1999-2003).
