Bonnie Lee is a Doctoral Researcher and womenmind™ Trainee at CAMH since 2022, specializing in Behavioral Neuroendocrinology under Dr. Liisa Galea. Bonnie serves as the Women’s Health Research Cluster Trainee Lead since 2019, where responsibilities include organizing public events, authoring informative blog posts, and analyzing data to assess the Cluster's initiatives. As a Neuroscience PhD Candidate at The University of British Columbia since 2015, Bonnie has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant and held various research and project management roles. Since 2019, Bonnie has been the CIHR Institute of Gender and Health Trainee Lead, promoting collaboration among researchers interested in sex and gender. Previously, Bonnie directed the Youth Mental Health Association from 2015 to 2019, enhancing organizational culture and engagement. Bonnie's background includes international piano performances in prestigious venues and recognition as the 2013 Canada Gold Medalist in piano performance. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience (2023) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience (2018) from The University of British Columbia.
