Christina Cefaloni is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public outreach and strategic communications. Currently serving as the DG Communications and Public Outreach at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since March 2016, Christina has previously held prominent roles at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, including Director of Strategic Communications and Senior Communications Manager, where responsibilities included developing marketing campaigns for the National Recruiting Program. Early career experience includes serving as the MERX Marketing Manager at Cebra Inc., where Christina oversaw marketing for Canada’s first online government tendering service, and as Caucus Communications Liaison in the House of Commons during a dynamic period in Canadian politics. Christina holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University, completed in 1994.
