Stephane Dragon

Stephane DRAGON is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research program management and policy analysis within the health research sector. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Research Programs at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since 2021, Stephane focuses on resolving peer review grievances. Prior to this role, Stephane held the position of Research Development Manager at The University of British Columbia, where facilitation of faculty support programs for research capacity enhancement was a key responsibility. Additionally, Stephane served as Program Coordinator at the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research, managing the delivery of funding programs. Earlier experience includes a role as a Policy Analyst at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, evaluating grant and award policies, and a PhD candidacy at the University of Manitoba, where research concentrated on airway inflammation mechanisms.
