Yelena Karpov is a Senior System Analyst at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, with a career spanning over two decades in software development and systems analysis. Since August 2003, Yelena has led the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based Enterprise Web Applications that facilitate the electronic submission of grant applications and enhance communication within the research community. Previous roles include Development Lead, where Yelena managed multi-disciplinary teams through various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, and Oracle Developer, contributing to the Electronic Information System for funding management. Yelena's earlier experience includes a Programmer/Analyst position at the University of Ottawa and a Programmer/Analyst role at the Local Authorities Data Processing Center. Yelena holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and further education from Willis College.
