Matthew Cutler

Vice-President, Exhibitions at Canadian Museum for Human Rights

A seasoned public sector executive, I have spent over two decades working with teams and organizations to find strategic alignment through a leadership practice that is facilitative, systems-inspired and values-based.

Building on a career of advancing community development and human rights in a variety of sectors, I am currently the Vice-President, Exhibitions at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. In this role I have the pleasure of serving a dynamic team of curators, researchers, collections managers, designers, digital story-tellers and technicians who are plying their museological skill and experience to create a world where everyone values human rights and takes responsibility for promoting respect and dignity for all.

I am honoured to do this work in Winnipeg, within Treaty No. 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the anishinaabeg (Ojibway), ininiwak and īthiniwak (Cree), anishininiwak (Ojibwe-Cree), Denesuline, and Dakota k'a Nakota Oyate, and the homeland of Red River Métis.
