Riva Harrison

Riva Harrison currently serves as the Vice President of External Relations & Community Engagement at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, a position held since March 2021. Previously, Riva was the Executive Director of Strategy & Communications at Red River College from October 2016 to November 2020 and a member of the executive & senior leadership team, focusing on strategic planning, marketing, and alumni engagement. Riva's extensive experience includes serving as Vice President of Marketing & Communications at CentrePort Canada and as Director of Communications & Strategic Initiatives for the Manitoba government. Earlier in Riva's career, work as a journalist at the Winnipeg Sun involved covering social affairs, politics, and various news topics. Riva holds a degree in Creative Communications with a focus on Journalism from RRC Polytech.
