Kathryn Chase

Kathryn Chase is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in employee and professional development, instructional design, and classroom teaching. Currently serving as an Employee Development Specialist at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since June 2023, Kathryn previously held roles including Learning and Development Lead and Professional Learning Lead at Calgary Academy from September 2018 to June 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Instructional Designer and Developer at Headwater Learning Solutions and serving as Director of Professional Development at the Centre for Educational Research Applications. Kathryn's earlier tenure at Calgary Academy included the role of Academic Dean, where direct collaboration with educators and feedback on instructional practice were pivotal. With foundational experience as a junior high classroom teacher specializing in science and mathematics, Kathryn also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Teacher Education from the University of Alberta and is currently pursuing further education in Collaborative Conflict Resolution at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
