Ryan Caldwell

Ryan Caldwell is an experienced mining engineer currently serving as a Weekly Mine Planner at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) since June 2022, focusing on short-range shovel planning to optimize ore feed and enhance oil barrel production. Previously at CNRL, Ryan held various roles including Mining EIT for mine projects, overseeing capital expenditure initiatives related to power infrastructure and reclamation. Earlier experiences include internships in tailings and long-range planning, where Ryan contributed to deposition studies and waste structure design, as well as a role as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Syncrude. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Queen's University.
