Simon Mortimer

Simon Mortimer is an experienced technical manager and account manager with a robust background in surface logging systems and operations management. Currently at Excellence Logging since July 2019, Simon has previously held significant positions at Weatherford from July 2007 to July 2019, including Global Technical Manager for Surface Logging Systems and Operations Supervisor across the UK, Denmark, and the Netherlands. At Weatherford, responsibilities encompassed ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, real-time monitoring in drilling operations, and overseeing quality control of geological reports. Prior experience includes roles as a Pressure Engineer and Data Engineer at Datalog Technology and Geoservices, respectively. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Portsmouth.
