Renée Salewski

Renée Salewski is a highly experienced stage director and independent voice teacher with a career spanning over two decades. As a freelance stage director since 2004, Renée has directed various productions, including operas, musical theatre, and remote films for organizations such as the Grand River Opera and The Singer’s Theatre. Currently serving as Core Faculty in Dramatic Integration at the Canadian Opera Company, Renée focuses on curriculum development for emerging artists. Additionally, Renée holds leadership roles as Vice President and 2nd Vice President of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Ontario, and serves as an adjudicator for the Kiwanis Music Festival Association. With a background in voice acting and script writing, along with teaching experience at Canterbury Christ Church University, Renée's diverse expertise supports artistic growth in various educational and performance contexts.
