Karie Starre

Karie Starre is a seasoned professional in the horticulture and design industries, currently serving as Manager at Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts since May 2022. With a diverse background, Karie has been involved in various capacities, including Family Initiative at Nachtigall Rehabilitation and Retreat Centre since April 2012, and as a Partner at Earthworker since 2006, focusing on clothing and accessory design. Other partnerships include Greenlife Management and Nursery, specializing in native species production for Alberta and B.C., and Lillace Farms, known for bio-dynamic agriculture. Karie also contributed as a Designer for Plants On Walls, creating innovative plant housing solutions, and owned Ahrive Transports, dedicated to the delivery of high-end artwork. Previous experience includes ownership of Rising Land Design Inc., emphasizing sustainable landscape integration, as well as roles in nursery operations and reforestation projects. Karie holds a diploma from Alberta University of the Arts, an apprenticeship in horticulture from Olds College, and attended Alternative High School.
