Kristina Henrikson has a diverse work experience in the fields of marketing, communications, graphic design, web development, and administrative support. Kristina has worked at multiple companies, including Canadian Science Publishing, Acart Communications, National Research Council Canada, Momentous, Embassy of Canada in Washington, and ByPress Printing.
At Canadian Science Publishing, Kristina held various roles, including Director of Marketing and Communications, Manager of Marketing and Communications, Strategic Marketing Lead, Graphics and UX Designer, and Graphic Designer.

In their earlier career, Kristina worked as a Desktop Publishing Technician at both Canadian Science Publishing and National Research Council Canada, where they provided graphic art and layout services for their pre-press journals program.

Kristina Henrikson's education history includes obtaining a General Arts & Sciences Certificate from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2005. Kristina then pursued a Diploma (Honors) in Print Media from the same institution, which they completed in 2007. Kristina continued their education at Algonquin College and achieved a Diploma (Honors) in Interactive Multimedia Developer in 2009.

Canadian Science Publishing (CSP), head-quartered in Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) is an independent, not-for-profit scholarly publisher dedicated to serving the needs of researchers and their communities, not only by publishing quality peer-reviewed journals but also by supporting the knowledge-sharing activities of scholarly societies and other keypartners through events, awards, and other exchanges.They are a not‐for‐profit company – CSP's Board is drawn from the research and publishing communities and represents all interests of the scholarly publishing community in Canada and beyond, including researchers, scientific societies, libraries, and business. The NRC Research Press journals (16 titles) cover a broad range of scientific disciplines, with more than 2000 manuscripts each year. All journals are available online and are accessible before print publication at www.nrcresearchpress.com. We proudly participate in international programs such as Research4Life, PERii, and TEEAL, which provide developing countries access to their material at little or no cost.
