Bill Gittler

Bill Gittler is an experienced professional with a robust background in project management and engineering, particularly within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Project Management for Canadian Solar Inc., Gittler has played a key role in launching the company's C&I business line and developing new BESS products. Previous positions include leading global sales operations and business standards within the Energy Group at Canadian Solar, as well as significant project management roles at firms like Phoenix Solar and GCL Solar Energy. Gittler's extensive experience spans over three decades, beginning with a military career in the U.S. Coast Guard, where multiple leadership and engineering roles were held. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
