Mariana Tierno

Mariana Tierno has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mariana is currently the Head of Legal and Senior Legal Manager for Latam at Canadian Solar Inc. starting from June 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Suzano, including Legal Manager from March 2022 to May 2023, Legal Coordinator from May 2019 to March 2022, and Legal Counsel from June 2018 to May 2019. Before joining Suzano, Mariana worked as a Legal Counsel at Record TV from October 2016 to April 2018. Mariana also served as a Legal Counsel at Rede Globo from May 2013 to October 2015, at Porto Seguro from January 2011 to March 2013, and at Gafisa as a Senior Lawyer from March 2010 to January 2011. Mariana'scareer started as an Associate Lawyer at Trevisioli Advogados Assoc. from July 2007 to March 2010, and as an Intern/Junior Lawyer at Tojal Renault Advogados from October 2003 to December 2006.

Mariana Tierno began their education in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM in 2005. From 2009 to 2011, they pursued a graduate course in Contract Law at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. In 2010, they studied Real State Law at Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM. Mariana then enrolled at Harvard University in 2016 to study Contract Law. Currently, they are attending FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, focusing on Digital Law.
