Lou Arab

Lou Arab is an experienced communications professional and political campaign manager with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Communications Representative at the Canadian Union of Public Employees since 2004, Arab specializes in developing advertising campaigns, managing media relations, and supporting local unions. Arab has also played a significant role in Alberta's NDP since 2010, successfully managing seven political field campaigns, with a strong focus on coaching, resource allocation, and staff training during pivotal provincial elections between 2019 and 2023. Additionally, past roles include Chief of Staff and Communications Director for the Alberta NDP Opposition, and a Research Analyst at COPE Local 378, with foundational experience as a Communications Officer for the BC NDP Caucus.
