Michael Davidson has extensive experience in labor relations and public service. Since June 2004, Michael has served as a National Servicing Representative at the Canadian Union of Public Employees, specializing in contract negotiations, litigation, arbitrations, and workplace investigations, among other areas. Prior to this role, Michael was a Professional Fire Fighter with the City of Saint John from 2002 to June 2004, contributing to life-saving efforts. Earlier experience includes working as a carpenter for School Board CUPE Local 380 from 1997 to January 2004, focusing on building maintenance and union involvement. Michael holds a degree in Correctional Office Techniques from Holland College PEI and an Interprovincial Tradesman Licence in Carpentry from New Brunswick Community College.
