Rodney Nelson is a dedicated faculty member at Carleton University since 2009, teaching courses in the Sprott School of Business and the Center for Initiatives in Education, with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Ethics, Cross Cultural Communication, and Indigenous Studies. Nelson holds several leadership roles, including board positions with Scouts Canada and the Canadian Museum of History, as well as serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Global Governance Group, which advises on governance practices for organizations. Previous experience includes chairing the board of FirstPlan Benefits and AFOA Canada, and serving as Vice-Chair of the Canada Dance Festival. Nelson's educational background includes a PhD in Indigenous and Canadian Studies and multiple degrees from Carleton University, alongside a Chartered Director designation from The Directors College.
