Ali Mikael

Ali Mikael is a Director Codes and Standards - Structural Engineering at Canadian Wood Council. Previously, Ali worked as a Junior Structural Engineer and Technologist at OGconsultants and as a Structural Engineer at NECS SA. Ali's experience also includes research and development engineering at ISTerre and consulting for the Department of Risk and Modeling at Paris-Ré. Ali holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes and has a background in earthquake engineering and geotechnical engineering. With a strong background in structural dynamics, Ali brings a wealth of expertise to the field.
