Digital Marketing Director at Canal de Panamá

Leon Kadoch has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Leon started their career as a Licensing Specialist at Microsoft in 2001 and then worked as a Consultant for several agencies and consulting firms, specializing in Information Architecture, User Experience, Web Design, Marketing Communications, and Software Development.

In 2007, Leon became the Head of Marketing Communications at Tupolitica.com and later joined Verdmont Capital S.A. as a User Experience Manager in 2010. Leon then joined Canal de Panamá in 2011 as a Digital Communications Officer, where they managed media platforms, redesigned the company's website, created an integrated corporate communication plan, and produced engaging newsletters.

Leon's next role was as the Secretary-General of Foreign Affairs at the Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Panamá from 2016 to 2018. In this position, they supervised various departments and enhanced operational efficiency. Leon also served as the Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister of International Cooperation during this time.

In 2018, Leon returned to Canal de Panamá as the Digital Marketing Director, where they developed collaborative strategies with advertising agencies and vendor partners, accelerated digital marketing efforts, and validated customer experience across multiple online channels.

Since 2019, Leon has also been a Professor of Digital, Advertising & Public Relations at Aden Business School, where they formulate detailed material and delivers knowledge in these fields, conducts research on emerging trends, and produces marketing content.

Leon Kadoch's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Strategy from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Leon also completed the MBA Module Innovation and Value Creation Program at Yale School of Management. In addition, Leon holds a Master of Digital Marketing degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Master of Corporate Communications degree from Universidad de Barcelona. Leon has a specialization in Digital Marketing from UC Irvine. Leon's undergraduate education includes a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Latina de Panamá and a Professional Diploma in Computer Programming from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua. Leon has also obtained various certifications, including Apple Search Ads, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, and Campaign Manager Certification Exam from Google.
