Eugenia Velez Barreneche

Eugenia Velez Barreneche has a rich and diverse work experience in the media industry. Eugenia started their career in 2005 as a Coordinator at Prodigy International Development Sales. Eugenia then moved on to work as a Manager of Human Resources and Administrative Director at WGEN TV from 2006 to 2007 and later at Caribevision TV Network from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Logistics Director at Acqua Communications. From 2010 to 2018, Eugenia worked at Caracol Televisión, where they held various roles, including Director of Programming and Subdirector of Coproductions. Their most recent positions have been with RCN TV, where they worked as a Manager of Programming from 2018 to 2019, then as a Vice President of Programming from 2019 to 2021, and currently as the Vice President of Programming and Marketing since October 2021. Eugenia Velez Barreneche has extensive experience in programming, marketing, coproductions, and human resources in the media industry.

Eugenia Velez Barreneche pursued their education in a chronological manner. Eugenia began their academic journey at Miami Dade College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S) degree. Subsequently, they attended Florida International University from 2003 to 2005 and earned a Bachelor of International Relations degree. Finally, Eugenia Velez Barreneche pursued further education by enrolling in the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2022 to 2024, where they will be completing an Executive MBA program.
