Alan Leather

Alan Leather is an experienced professional who has held various roles in the environmental and community development sectors. Currently serving as the Partnerships and Funding Manager at Canal & River Trust, Alan is a key member of the East Midlands Leadership Team overseeing fundraising, PR/PA, and communications activities. With a background in project management and fundraising, Alan has also worked with organizations such as The National Forest Company, The Woodland Trust, and Freelance Community Projects Support, supporting community groups in developing and implementing various projects. Alan holds a degree in Geology from the University of Derby and has received training in project management from the Association for Project Management.
