Paul H.

Paul H. has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management. Paul was a Principal Concept Engineer at Canal & River Trust, where they delivered concept designs for canal-related projects and engaged with contractors, stakeholders, and specialists. Prior to that, they worked at Tony Gee and Partners, where they held roles such as Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, Design Engineer, and Graduate Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for delivering high-profile civil and railway schemes, leading design teams, and collaborating with clients and contractors. Paul also worked as a Site Engineer (Secondment) at Carillion, where they managed a project involving repairs to a steel bridge. Additionally, they were a Pool Lifeguard at Plymouth Pavilions earlier in their career.

Paul H. completed their education from 2008 to 2013 at Loughborough University, where they earned a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Civil Engineering with a Diploma of Industrial Studies. After completing their degree, they obtained several additional certifications. In June 2018, they became a Chartered Engineer (CEng) from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). In October 2019, they obtained a certification in Personal Track Safety from Network Rail. In December 2019, they also became a Professionally Qualified Person certified by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
