John D. Countryman

John D. Countryman is an experienced professional in the beverage industry with a strong background in sales and category management. Currently serving as Category Manager at Founders Brewing Co. since November 2018, John analyzes data to identify industry trends and communicates insights to stakeholders. Previously, John held various roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev from 2008 to August 2018, including Key Account Manager, where John drove sales growth initiatives for large chains and managed retail execution across numerous accounts. John's experience also encompasses trade planning, district sales management, and event marketing, complemented by an internship with Budweiser of Columbia and a contemporary adult marketing internship at RedPeg Marketing. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina Honors College.
