Heidi Giesing Chokeir

Heidi Giesing Chokeir, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Heidi began their professional career as an Undergraduate Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute in 1992, where they worked in the laboratory of Dr. Bernard M. Babior. Heidi continued their academic journey at the same institute and completed their Ph.D. in Macromolecular and Cellular Structure and Chemistry in 2002. Heidi'sthesis research focused on molecular and structural virology, conducted under the guidance of Professor John E. Johnson. Following their graduation, Heidi took a break from their professional pursuits to be an At-home Mother and Volunteer from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Russo Partners, LLC as an Account Supervisor and stayed with the company until 2011. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director at Evoke Canale, a position they have held since 2011.
