Purav Badani has a Ph.D. from the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in India and has over a decade’s worth of experience in spectroscopic techniques, breath sensors, and point-of-care devices. With expertise in molecular spectroscopy and advanced instrumental techniques in chemical analysis, he has made significant contributions to the development of laser-enabled mass-spectrometers for detecting compounds at attomolar levels. In addition, Dr. Badani is involved in research and development in the field of quantum chemistry. This includes, but is not limited to, probing the properties of biological molecules and reaction kinetics.
Among his awards are a research fellowship from the Department of Atomic Energy and a gold medal from the University of Mumbai. He also has been awarded the prestigious 'Young Scientist Fellowship' by the Government of India. He has over 30 research articles published in various scientific journals to his credit.
