Zi Long has worked for a number of companies since 2014. Zi began their career at Panda Restaurant Group as a Counter Help in 2014. In 2016, they worked as a Front Desk Agent for Courtyard by Marriott. In 2017, they worked as a Student Office Staff for Purdue University, an F&B Intern for White Lodging Services, and a Room Division Extern for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Zi also worked as an 1869 Tap Room Operation Manager for Purdue University. In 2019, they worked as a Food and Beverage Operations Manager for Accor. In 2020, they worked as a General Manager for Panda Restaurant Group, where they increased store profit by an average of 25% compared to the previous year by building sales and controlling expenses. Zi also hired and trained store associates and developed and internally promoted one Assistant Manager, one Kitchen Manager, and one General Manager. Currently, they are working as an Account Executive and Sales Development Representative for Canary Technologies.
Zi Long received a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University in 2019. Zi also holds a Level 1 Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas.
