Brian Suarez has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2002 when they held the role of Webmaster Intern at Woodfield Media, Inc. Brian then worked at Staples as an Easytech/Technology Associate in 2006 before taking on the role of Student Technician at Illinois State University, where they provided helpdesk support and break fix technical support during the school year. In 2007, they ran a small business specializing in computer repair in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. Brian then worked at Northwestern University from 2011 to 2018, first as a Distributed Support Specialist, then as a Senior Distributed Support Specialist. During this time, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. In 2012, they took on the role of Manager of Information Technology at Chicago TikiBoat, and then worked as a Remote Desktop Engineer at Unisys from 2009 to 2019. Most recently, they have been working at SpotHero as a Senior IT Engineer and IT Squad Lead since 2019. Brian is currently the IT Manager at CancerIQ, a position they have held since 2022.

Brian Suarez received a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Northwestern University in 2020. In 2017, they obtained a Security+ certification from CompTIA. Brian is currently enrolled in edX for an unspecified degree.
