Rachael Brown

Rachael Brown is an experienced development professional currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at the Cancer Research Institute since September 2024. Prior to this role, Rachael held the position of Chief Development Officer at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting from October 2022 to April 2024. Rachael has an extensive background in development leadership, having served as Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Development at JVS - San Francisco from January 2016 to September 2022, and as Director of Development and Associate Director of Development at CARE from October 2012 to January 2016. Earlier roles include Annual Giving Manager at InnVision Shelter Network and various positions at Lick-Wilmerding High School, culminating in the positions of Annual Fund Director and Planned Giving Coordinator. Rachael's educational background includes a BA in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis and progress towards a PhD in Political Science at Indiana University Bloomington.
