Founded in 1953, the New York City-based Cancer Research Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to extending the lives of cancer patients and reducing cancer-related deaths by fueling the development of smarter, more effective treatments that mobilize our body’s natural immune defenses against all types of cancer.

To accomplish this goal, the Cancer Research Institute supports the most critical research, invests in the development of promising new treatments, and unites the efforts of the field’s leaders worldwide.
