Stephanie McClellan is a seasoned professional in health media and science communication, currently serving as the Senior Health Media Manager and formerly as the Senior Science Press Officer and Science Press Officer at Cancer Research UK since September 2014. Additionally, Stephanie has been working as a freelance journalist and communicator, focusing on environmental science. Previous roles include researcher for a European Space Agency MOOC on climate change, press assistant for the European Geosciences Union, journalist for UNESCO and CERN, science writer at the Natural History Museum, and research assistant at the National Science Foundation. Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Science Communications from Imperial College London and a Master’s degree in Geoscience from UCL, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Colgate University.
