Kat Morano

Kat Morano is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in various roles. Currently serving as a National Board Member for Girls in Gear since September 2024, Kat supports the mission of empowering girls through mentorship-based bike programming. In alignment with this, Kat has been a Grants Coordinator at CancerCare since February 2023, leading business development research initiatives and providing administrative support. Previous experience includes positions as a Kickboxing Instructor at CKO KICKBOXING, Analyst at Stern Investor Relations, and multiple internships at notable organizations such as The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Kat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from John Jay College (CUNY) and has demonstrated a strong commitment to blending scientific expertise with community engagement and education.
