Ileen Winick

Ileen B. Winick is the Chief People Officer at Candel Therapeutics. Ms. Winick joined Candel, bringing over 25 years of experience in building and leading Human Resources functions, with expertise in culture and talent building in emerging companies. Ms. Winick joined the company from Flagship Pioneering, where she served as a Human Resources Consultant across Flagship’s portfolio companies. Before this, Ms. Winick held the role of Senior Vice President, Human Resources, at Casebia Therapeutics and was a key leader in scaling the company from 25 to 100 employees and positioning it for a successful acquisition. She has held multiple roles leading Human Resource departments, ranging across biotechnology and high-tech companies. Ms. Winick received an undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati in Industrial Psychology and a master’s degree from Cornell University in Industrial and Labor Relations.
