Erica Bazerkanian

Erica Bazerkanian has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the marketing and biotech industries. Erica is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Candesant Biomedical since September 2022.

Prior to their current role, Erica worked at Arrow Consulting as a Principal from April 2019, where they focused on aesthetic and therapeutic medicine biotech consulting, including pre-launch planning, brand strategy, and launch strategy. Erica demonstrated strong leadership skills and delivered strategic insights and plans with significant business impact, particularly in development stage companies.

Erica also served as the Vice President of Business Development at May & Meadow from April 2019 to November 2019. Here, Erica contributed to the development of technology aimed at assisting newborn infants with oral feeding difficulties, collaborating with leading researchers in nursing, neonatology, pediatrics, and breastfeeding.

Before that, Erica had an extensive tenure at Revance Therapeutics, Inc., starting as a retained marketing consultant from November 2013 to September 2015. Erica then progressed through various roles, including Senior Director of Strategic Marketing from September 2015 to December 2016, Head of Strategic Marketing from January 2017 to December 2017, and finally, Vice President of Marketing, Aesthetics & Therapeutics from January 2018 to January 2019.

Additionally, Erica worked at Kythera Biopharmaceuticals as the Senior Director of Marketing, responsible for the company's marketing efforts from January 2012 to February 2013. Erica also served as the Director of Marketing from July 2009 to January 2012 and as a Senior Manager of Business Development & Strategic Market Planning from October 2006 to July 2009.

Erica began their career at Amgen as a Marketing Manager from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they gained experience in public relations with roles at Ruder Finn as a Senior Account Executive from September 1996 to June 1999, Ruder Finn Public Relations (Los Angeles) as a Senior Account Executive from 1996 to 1999, and EvansGroup Public Relations as an Assistant Account Manager from 1995 to 1996.
