Thaine Sasman

Thaine Sasman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the engineering and energy sectors. Currently serving as Asset Management Lead at candi since January 2021, Thaine has been an Owner and Project Engineering Consultant at EMPS-Africa since March 2013, providing mechanical and electronic engineering consultancy services, project management, and renewable energy solutions, including wind and solar projects. Prior roles include Owner and CTO at GreenFlash Energy (2020-2021), Head of Operations and Maintenance at Sustainable Power Solutions (2016-2018), and Project (Development) Manager at Infrastream Advisory (2015-2016). Thaine has also held positions at wiGroup, DCD Group, and Fuhrländer AG, specializing in project management, operations, and wind energy engineering. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechatronic from Stellenbosch University.
