Asya is responsible for overseeing the expansion, engagement, retention, and quality improvement of the Funding Information Network (FIN).

Asya’s career has centered around developing sustainable partnerships, designing global programs, and increasing operational efficiency for mission-driven organizations. As a strategic and people-minded leader, she is known for innovating and increasing impact by strengthening relationships and building capacity. Asya began her career in international development, working with the Peace Corps Master’s International Program to integrate Peace Corps service projects into graduate curricula, and in the West and Central Africa Division of Population Service International, a global health organization. From 2008-2010, Asya coordinated the development of FDA submissions for clinical trials at Intendis Inc., a subsidiary of Bayer Healthcare. In 2010, she joined One To World, a nonprofit that fosters intercultural understanding by creating face-to-face experiences among local communities, international students, and Fulbright scholars in the NY metropolitan area. There, she served as Coordinator of Enrichment Programs from 2010-2012, Director of Enrichment Programs from 2012-2017, and Managing Director from 2017-2020. Her achievements include designing strategy to increase program offerings by 60%, capacity by 30% and retention by 47% while keeping costs flat, strengthening partnerships that resulted in up to 5X increases in contributions, and developing hundreds of community engagement programs for people from 140+ countries. Asya brings a deep appreciation for promoting diverse perspectives and continual learning to all her work.

She holds a B.A, in international affairs from The George Washington University and an M.A in international education from New York University.
