Director, Customer Success at Candid

Billy and his team account manage the enterprise contract renewals at Candid. This team manages upsells, product changes, and general contract and billing support throughout a customer’s term. Billy supports Candid’s largest enterprise and subscription clients, project manages all client migrations, integrations, and implementations, and oversees new client onboarding and training. Billy joined the GuideStar (now Candid) team in 2016 to develop and implement the organization’s first Customer Success initiatives and programs. Billy is based in Baltimore, MD, and received a B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.

Before joining Candid, Billy spent over a decade working at a nonprofit organization in his hometown before launching his career in the philanthropic sector. He spent 3 years at Social Solutions, an outcomes measurement software vendor that provides case management solutions to nonprofits and government agencies in the human services sector. At Social Solutions, he worked with hundreds of nonprofit organizations across the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom in various roles including Customer Support, Solutions Specialist, and Account Manager. He later became Director of Strategic Accounts at First Advantage where he helped several of the largest national nonprofit organizations in the country manage their volunteer and employee background screening.
