Jamal Shah

Jamal Shah has a strong background in software architecture and full-stack engineering. Jamal started their career in 2012 as a Senior PHP Developer at MPAC, where they implemented Zend, CentOS, MySQL, Apache, Memcached, and jQuery to replace aging proprietary software. Jamal then worked at Proximity Canada as a Senior PHP Developer, where they refactored code to reduce clutter and implemented various features using Symfony2 and Doctrine. At Bell Media, Jamal implemented a custom CMS solution, designed and implemented Akamai image asset management, and integrated an external Tumblr blog. Jamal then joined Reddin Global Inc. as a Senior PHP Developer & Architect, and later moved to TalentNet as a Solutions Architect in 2016. In 2020, they joined Tractor At Home as a Solutions Architect and Full Stack Engineer. Jamal has also worked as a Solutions Architect and Full Stack Engineer at REITIUM and CandidateX, respectively. Jamal'smost recent role has been as a Software Architect and Full Stack Engineer at Fluxwork Studios Ltd.

Jamal Shah attended Centennial College from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Informational Science (BAISc) degree with a focus on Computer and Communication Networks.
