Michael L. Purvis

Michael Purvis, MPA, FACHE, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Candler County Hospital since December 2019. Prior to this role, Purvis held the position of CEO at Cook Medical Center within Tift Regional Health System from August 2010 to April 2019, and served as Hospital Administrator at Brooks County Hospital from June 2008 to June 2010. Education includes a Master of Public Administration from Valdosta State University obtained between 2002 and 2004, a Bachelor of Science in Adult and Continuing Education from the same university from 1998 to 2000, and a degree in Radiologic Technology from Moultrie Technical College earned from 1994 to 1996.
