Alexandra H.

Alexandra H. has had a varied career in frontend engineering and development. Alexandra began their career in 2008 as an Assistant to the Director of Academic Affairs at the University of Nicosia. In 2011, they took on additional roles at the university as a Moodle/WebEx/E-Learning Lab Administrator and a Budget Assistant at the Computer Center. In 2013, they interned at Opium Works Digital Agency as a Web Development Intern. Later that year, they worked as a Web Developer. In 2014, they joined PROTOIO INC as a Frontend Software Engineer in the Product Team, where they specialized in the front-end development of the app and was actively involved in creating new features to improve the experience of the product's users. In 2018, they joined Hotjar as a Frontend Developer in the Marketing's Creative team, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of Hotjar's website, as well as the full migration of all content to a new CMS. Alexandra was also involved in all stages of the decision-making process within the Marketing department and charged with responding to any requests for new functionalities and technical help coming from the entire organisation. In 2021, Alexandra began working as a Frontend Engineer at Candu.

Alexandra H. completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nicosia in 2016 with Summa Cum Laude honors. In 2012, they participated in the Erasmus Intensive Program at the University of Vaasa, where they earned a Cross-Cultural Management certification.
