Elena Mendiola Illescas

Elena Mendiola Illescas has extensive experience in marketing and art direction. Elena currently works as a Senior Marketing Manager at Canela Media since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Marketing Manager at the same company from May 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Canela Media, Elena worked at Gabana Marketing Group as a Creative Director from April 2018 to May 2021. Elena started their tenure there as a Senior Art Director from May 2017 to April 2018.

Elena'sprevious roles include working as a Senior Art Director at Roll México from May 2016 to May 2017, and as a Senior Art Director at La Colectiva from September 2015 to May 2016.

Elena also worked as an Art Director at Ariadna from March 2015 to September 2015, and as a Junior Art Director at MRM Worldwide from March 2013 to March 2015.

Elena began their career as a Web Designer at 021 in October 2012, and as a Graphic Designer at IAVE from May 2010 to August 2012.

Elena's early experience includes a role as a Graphic Design Intern at Mabe from February 2009 to February 2010. In this position, they focused on editorial design and collaborated with content developers to create visual materials.

Throughout their career, Elena has worked on various marketing campaigns, promotional materials, corporate design, editorial design, multimedia projects, and web design. Elena has also demonstrated strong project management and coordination skills, working with creative agencies and media agencies.

Elena Mendiola Illescas pursued their higher education from 2005 to 2009 at UNITEC, México, where they obtained a degree in Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico. Following that, from 2009 to 2010, Elena enrolled in a Masterclass and completed a Diplomado en Diseño y Desarrollo web, specializing in Diseño web. In addition, Elena obtained a certification in KidAware from the institution SuperAwesome in June 2022.
