Ellie Gibbons

Ellie Gibbons is a dedicated netball professional currently serving as Head of Netball at Canford School since August 2023. Gibbons has been a player for Bartercard Surrey Storm in the VNSL since September 2022, and previously played for Severn Stars while also coaching their Nova Academy from October 2019 to September 2023. Gibbons has held the Head of Netball position at RGS Worcester from August 2020 to July 2023 and was also a VNSL player for Wasps from September 2021 to September 2022. Earlier roles include Netball Specialist and Teacher of Girls’ Games at New Hall School and Physical Education Teacher at Shenfield High School. Gibbons began the career in education as a Student Teacher at Brentwood School after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Exeter from 2013 to 2016.
