Mark R.

Mark R. has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mark'smost recent role was as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at canibuild, which they started in 2023. Prior to that, Mark worked at WP Engine, where they held multiple positions. Mark began as a Consultant in January 2017 and then became the Country Manager for Australia/NZ, where they successfully launched WP Engine's first APAC office. Later, they were promoted to the role of VP of APAC Sales, overseeing a growing team.

Before their time at WP Engine, Mark served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Bulletproof Group Limited from 2013 to 2016. Mark was responsible for simplifying complex technology and enabling rapid transformation for the organization's clients.

Mark also has significant experience with Rackspace Hosting, where they served as the Country Manager for Australia/NZ from 2009 to 2013. Mark played a key role in founding and growing the business in the region, achieving consistent revenue growth and high customer satisfaction.

Prior to Rackspace, Mark worked as the Sales & Marketing Director at Destra, a business broadband provider. Mark joined the company in 2002 and implemented a successful channel program that contributed to revenue growth.

Mark's career began at ATL Networks in 1995, where they co-founded the internet infrastructure and services business. Mark started as a Technical Account Manager/Consultant and eventually became the Managing Director. During their time there, the business experienced significant growth.

Mark's early career includes a role as a Technical Analyst at Azlan, a UK IT distribution company. Mark started as a database administrator and later moved into pre-sales technical support.
