Lauren Young serves as the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Canisius University since September 2016. Prior to this role, Lauren Young worked at the University at Buffalo's Office of Institutional Research for over 23 years, first as a Research Analyst, where responsibilities included coordinating data analysis and reporting, and later holding positions as a Data Manager/Statistician and Research Assistant. Through expert analysis combining database queries and business intelligence, Lauren Young successfully contributed to increasing freshman enrollment by over 15% and supported faculty productivity and institutional equity. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Psychology from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Cornell University.
